System Support Technician

The role: 

We are looking for a System support Technician to join the Computer Systems Maintenance team at our offices in Barcelona. 

Within the MSI department, your main functions will be:

• Network infrastructure management.
• Email management.
• Configuration management infrastructure (SVN, Github).
• SQL Server management.
• Resolution of server incidents.
• Resolution of network incidents (firewalls).

Additional functions:

• Assembly, installation and configurations of PCs
• Management of the office fleet of PCs and laptops
• Computer material management

Your profile:

• • 5 years of experience in similar position. Experience in internal client management.
  • Servers HW
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge ofSQL Server and scripting
  • Email server
  • Network infrastructure (switching, firewalls)
  • Firewalls (Stormshield, pfSense and Sonicwall)
  • Virtualisation (Proxmox)
  • SVN
  • Github
  • Jira y Confluence
  • Team worker, yet also accustomed to working with autonomy.
  • Problem solving attitude, proactive and dynamic.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of English level: B1
