Job description

The role:

GTD Sistemas de Información is an engineering company specialized in rockets (Ariane family) and Ground Control & Command for different launchers and earth observation satellites (civil & military). We know how to create breath-taking, powerful software which is reliable and cost effective, whether it’s needed for space transportation, earth observation and science exploration missions.

We are looking for an Automation and Industrial Engineer to join GTD Sistemas de Información, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety-critical applications.

The work consists of providing technical assistance in support of the client CNES, for the digitalization and modernization of industrial infrastructure processes at the European spaceport in French Guiana.

Your profile:

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically SIEMENS S7-1500 and IEC61131 languages, as well as field buses (3 yrs experience).
Experience in programming/administration of SCADA systems, Ethernet networks, EtherCAT, and fieldbuses.
Experience in FAT and SAT commissioning.
Experience in generating technical documentation: technical specifications, detailed code design, validation plans, user manuals, validation procedures, etc.
Willingness to relocate to French Guiana for 3 years, with the possibility of extension.
Languages: Intermediate English (mandatory)

Requirements

Nice to have:

Experience working in multilingual environments.
Knowledge of WINCC OA
Interpretation and design of electrical diagrams for automation cabinets
Knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, and hydraulic processes
Programming of SAIA brand PLCs and HMIs
Knowledge of databases and SQL
Knowledge of energy efficiency and management systems, and Smart Grid networks
Intermediate French
