Job description

The role:

GTD Sistemas de Información is an engineering company specialized in rockets (Ariane family) and Ground Control & Command for different launchers and earth observation satellites (civil & military). We know how to create breath-taking, powerful software which is reliable and cost effective, whether it’s needed for space transportation, earth observation and science exploration missions.

We are looking for a SW engineer to join GTD Sistemas de Información, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety-critical applications. The aim of the project is the maintenance, administration and exploitation of the computer systems of A6 CBF (Control Bench Facility) in Europe.

The selected candidate will work in the clients facilities in Les Mureaux (Paris, France).

Position activities:

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Linux Systems
Analyze and solve anomalies.
Carry out preventive and corrective network maintenance.
Participate in preparation and launch operations
Write and update design, operation and maintenance documentation

Your profile:

Degree in SW, Telecommunications engineering, or related fields.
5 years experience in a similar position
Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS)
Network administration and configuration (Cisco, Aruba)
Skilled in programming: Python, Bash scripting, C, VBA, Javascript
Experience in the production of technical documentation: technical specifications, plans, user's guide, operating procedures and validation, etc.
Knowledge of Docker
Languages: French (good level mandatory)

Requirements

Nice to have:

Experience working in control systems in an industrial environment.
Experience in automation, control, acquisition systems and Fieldbus (Schneider, Beckhoff, Citect)
Knowledge of ElasticSearch Suite
Intermediate English
